The fear of not knowing what you are doing. If he has had a bad track record of girls cheating..he is finding himself worrying where you are concerned. It becomes habit after a while for some people and it is hard to break. In other cases, he himself may be insecure. This will also lead to directing it at you without just cause. Plus, he may hate you not being there and theres a few people out there that seem to think if they push you enough, you will come back home to be with them. Then, they have you there and they arent lonely anymore.

Tell him you are with him because you want to be, you don't want anyone else. Tell him how much it hurts you that you are not being trusted.
IMHO jealous guys can be more trouble than they're worth... if he stays posessive and makes you cry, maybe find someone else :-)
