I use to until one day I realized that if I changed just one step in this journey I would not be where I am in life right now. That is happy with who I am, content with my choice of home towns and community and admiring the young woman that my daughter has become.

We waste too much time crying over our mistakes when there is nothing we can do to change it. Instead turn your energies into enjoying today. If it is a really bad time then pick just one thing that you can be happy for and focus on that. If you add one thing a day pretty soon you will be happy for the entire day.

No. If you could go back and change things, everything now would be gone. With a new life comes new problems, new outcomes. You are under the assumption that going back and changing things would make for a better life, but would it. It could turn out that you would have a worse life then what you have now. Of course, it could be better to. The life you have now, which might not be going the way you want now, might change, and in time become better then even you could imagine. Move forward and live life to its fullest.

At the moment when I regretted something, I keep wishing it. But after a while, I realise that things happen for a reason and the best thing to do when things go wrong is to learn from it. If I had missed something, I just say to myself that it's not for me. or it could be bad for me as I do not know what the future holds.

yes. I went to 2 schools, got licenses, certificates, had 4.0 GPA, still cant find a job.......I've heard that things happen for a reason, what reason is that? I'm a single mom, the man, who is the father of my child and whom I love with all my heart is not with me and is in love with someone else who treats him really bad. That being said, I'm still waiting to find out that reason.......if I could go back in time and change a moment, I would.......at least to prevent this awful heartache......
