My daughter wears crocs (she is aCNA) I am a hairdresser who wears the croc sandals. I loved them at first but the strap broke after 2 weeks and the bottom of the soles seem to wear while wearing outside. They are comfy but I think the non-sandal type my daughter wears gives a little better support than my croc sandals do. There is an excellent shoe website that I use call zappos, they let customers rate all of the shoes and they have every croc style and color and wide widths. FREE shipping also.Personally, I like to wear the wild colors to make a statement that I am wearing them for comfort and for fun! Don't be tempted though to buy several at once. Buy one and try it first. I also find that it helps my feet to rotate shoes. I have been standing for 23 years and I don't skimp on comfortable floor mats either, although as a nurse that may not be an option. Good Luck, and treat yourself to a wonderful pedicure once in a while.

I got a pair for Mother's Day. They aren't the cutest shoes around, but they are comfortable. The bumpy surface on the sole kind of bothered me at first, but it's okay when I wear socks with them. They're easy to slip on and off, and simple to keep clean. In really hot weather, they make my feet sweat a lot more, so then I just toss on my favorite sandals.

I own a bunch of pairs. Sure, they aren't the most attractive shoes, but if you get them in a good color, black, white, etc, most people won't even notice them. The are super comfortable. I've talked to doctors that I've seen and they have them and love them. One even told me they are doing a medical divison to sell the shoes specifically to doctors and nurses.

they are really comfy. i have more then one pair. i am a dental hygenest so i know where your coming from. but i like vegies better. they are pretty much the same but thinner, so they are not as bulky. also try white ones to blend in better with your scrubs. they are also good in the garden and excellent in rain.

If it become the sea coast i might want to get alongside without them, yet they could be useful for the inevitable rocks i'd might want to climb. Do they get like slippery even as moist then they could be fantastically ineffective. haha i'm fantastically uniformed for you hypothetical situation. yet i understand one element i'd die without pants although haha So i'd truly have pants.
