I would love to be able to get the look of Kathryn Morris, the actress who plays the gorgeous blonde lady in "Cold Case".

She has the dark smokey look about her eyes which looks great. Im assuming its just mascara and eyeliner .

Here is the link to see pics of her

Use a chalky gray eyeshadow on your lids, a lighter shade of gray in the crease, and an almost white or cream colored shade on the brow bone (to really open up the eye). Then, use a gray (not black!) liner and line the top of your lid, but only half way, not all the way around. This closes your eye, and makes it look small. Then, line your lower lid, but only halfway as well. Now, when you get to the outer edge of the eye, give it a stroke upward (almost like a cat). Then, purchase Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in blackest black and really coat the outer lashes, not the inner ones, give them a little. When you reach the outer lashes, sweep outward to give that long outer lash Marilyn Monroe look. Run a brow pencil over your brows if necessary. And voila! You have achieved the smoky eye look. Now, use a soft pink or nude lip gloss on lips. When you play up the eyes real dramatic like that, you dont need a strong lip. Also, if you have long hair, wear it down in loose waves that frames the face. Or, if your hair is short, pull it away from the face to draw attention to your sexy smoky eyes. You go girl!

okay to create the smoky look you go about this way: using an eyeliner brush line the lower lids with charcoal eyeshadow. Then extend slighty beyond the inner and outer corners of your eyes. Then you might want to make it really sexy by adding a super sheer layer of platinum eyeshadow. next use black pencil eyeline to line your lower rim. to top it off i say go with one coat of mascara on top and bottom lashes. and a very very light shade of pink (matte or glossy). i say go with glossy.

To get the smokey eye look, use a smoke eyeshadow applied dry with an eyeliner brush line top and bottom and gently smudge. Don't put dark shadow on the lid -- that only works for runway. Go for a taupey or lighter shadow above, which will fade into the smoke eyeshadow and give a smokey look. Also apply losts of black mascara.

You can use black or charcoal pencil to line your eyes, smokey shadow on the lid, and a pale highlighter under your brow. Many make up counters give free make up lessons, and you could bring a picture in and ask the sales assistant to show you what they have to make up the same way. They can tell you how to apply it to get the look you want.

From the picture, if looks like she has a silvery shade of eyeshadow applied all over the lid and black liner (pencil) on the top and bottom with a soft sweep of black mascara. It looks very simple and soft.
