Is there a problem with your beliefs or are you unsure about your beliefs? You cannot convince yourself. Read up on the items that you don't want to believe in. If you feel it is against your ethics or code of conduct, forget it.

Look at it for what it is. If it is something that you do not want to believe, then don't. If there are facts that support what you are struggling with, then you might not have a choice. It just depends on what it is.

I believe one should have a belief system that he/she relies on in daily living. If someone insists that you take on their beliefs, that is emotional abuse. Emotional abuse is sometimes more damaging than physical abuse. You need to know it's okay to "agree to disagree." Listen to someone, but don't take on their beliefs. it is healthy to have differences of opinion. You are a valuable person with the abilities to make your own decisons about what you want in life, and nobody has the right to take that from you. Now if you are being unhealthy and your beliefs are harmful to you and your health or you are "living on the edge," you need to seek help from your PCP. That doctor will then refer you on to a therapist if needed. People with healthy self-esteem are harder to change their belief system than those without it.

Your spirit tells you what is truth and what is lie. Believe in your spirit to guide you through. If you don't want to believe it then stand strong on that. Don't allow others to intimidate your thoughts.

You don't. If you did, you would be lying to yourself. Faith is what you need. Faith is to believe something without proof.
