If we were to split up would i be entitled to any of the mortgage payments i have made and money and time i have put into the house. There is no rental agreement. This is in ohio in case it goes state to state on the legalities..

Unless your name is on the mortgage you have no ownership in the house. You are paying rent.Any repairs or upgrades to the house that you payed for would be settled in small claims court provided you have proof.

correction to the answer above, unless your name is on the Deed, you have no ownership rights whatsoever. if your name is on the mortgage and not the Deed, you own a debt with no collateral - If your name is on neither, then, you would have to attempt to prove your case in court to revover your time and money you expended.
