i agree the best thing that you can do is be the nicest sweetest thing in the world to them, because chances are that they know you hate them and they will wonder why you are being so nice and it will bug the living day lights out of them

Stop wanting to get the best of that person because you never will. You read about folks like that in the morning paper pretty often. They settle it with a gun or a knife and end up spending the rest of their life in jail or have their life taken by the state. Either try and avoid the person or do as most others have found is best and "kill them with kindness."

In my opinion, dignity has always been the best way to deal with problem people. Sometimes we know why they are angry at us, because we did something to deserve it. Other times it is a mystery best explained by the other's fears and insecurities. Either way, when we act with dignity, we take the higher ground. We look good, they don't.

In the same vein, then dignity becomes the best revenge as well.

Hate will hurt you more than the other person. You can't win in a situation like that. There's an old saying that is true: "Living well is the best revenge." Live a life style that he or she will envy and ignore him.

The more someone acts hateful to me, the nicer I am to that person when I see him/her. It also helps to avoid contact whenever possible, without going too much out of your way.

Believe it or not, you'll actually feel better acting like that than by acting all bitchy. It sort of puts you a step up on that person.

When you are around that person and others, appear to be TOTALLY confident (even if maybe you aren't), be the life of the party, show him/her that you are liked by lots of other people and that their opinion of you makes no difference one way or the other. The best way to annoy someone that dislikes you is to show them that you could care less.

Forgive them. If they don't return the favor, you'll have a good laugh on them when you are in heaven and they are not. If they do, go out for a drink together and laugh about how dumb you both were to be upset over something trivial.

Ignore him. The best revenge is a life well lived. A resentment is allowing someone to live rent free in your head, babes.

Be like Michael Jackson and pay $150,000 to have a witch doctor place a spell on them.
