Now Yahoo Answers has fallen into celebrity worship just like every other media we have. It looks like the Yahoo Answers by the people and for the people is gone. At least it is good to see Stephen Hawking on here instead of Al Gore.

WOW!!!
Behold the power of Stephen Hawking. It's been 11 hours and he has received more answers than Al Gore has received in 5 days! I now have a SOLID answer to Gore's question. Simply put Stephen Hawking in charge of solving the "Global Climate Change" issue.

I disagree.

Al Gore carries two things about him. One, he is a well known environmentalist with strong opinions that people will either agree with or disagree with and they will answer based on their own beliefs. The other is he is a well known Democrat and he will get some nonsense responses like "When will you run again" or "Why do Democrats lose and whine", nothing to do with his question but I know he got some responses like that (read through some of the answers).

So Al Gore being what he is will get responses that other questioners will not draw. I doubt Mr. Hawkins will get biased partisan answers to his question so will not get as many responses as Mr. Gore did.

Riddle me this, Guru 2. What does Al Gore, Stephen Hawking's and Jane Fonda have in common? They all three have egos that would sink a ship.

Given that Hawking's question is focused on the hypothetical close end of our world, I think you are right.

At least, Al Gore is a positive person who believes in humankind's future.

I agree with you on the Al Gore thing. I realize he wants to do something about the environment, but these celebrities have huge houses (not one) that use tons of electricity and fuel oil. They also drive huge SUVs, and fly in their "private" planes.
So I find it hard to take them seriously. I guess it's "do as I say, and not as I do".
