I went to college from Fall 2005 to Winter 2006. I took 3 classes, and stopped going to them, therefore failing out. My GPA in high school was a 3.1 . I have had a full time job since December, and I realize I really need an education. I want to go back to school, but I don't know how to start. I will not be satisfied with going to a community college, I want to maybe start by going with continuing education at a large school, and then eventually becoming a full time student there. HOW DO I DO THIS, HELP ME PLEASE...ANY ADVICE? email : clippz21@yahoo.....AIM :

Get the prerequisite classes for the first couple of years at a community college - it's cheaper and less demanding this way, you can still work to support yourself. Save some money and after two years of community college appply for a four-year school, where you will fulfill lots of prerequisites already. After 2-3 years at a university you should have your degree ready.

I agree with Smart_twin06...

He is right, the best thing to do is go to a community college, FOR A SEMESTER! do really well in your classes. Then apply to a larger school. These schools will look at your past college experience, and normally if your GPA isn't above a 2.5 they won't even consider it, but lately in larger colleges, they are moving up to the 3.0 mark!

If you are applying to a different school than the one you dropped out of, you can simply fill out the application as if you had never attended college. This way you'll be judged by your high school performance, and not by your recent college performance.

To be fair, honestly it will be better to start of at the CC and then transfer because a lot of University's will look at your recent college experience and will believe that you are not ready for a big challenge. You can get your grades back up and your mind ready if you start of at CC.

well you need to hold on tight you have a long and hard journey to follow.Your education should be your first priority you are young and at times you may feel that things are not going your way but once you get a degree or even a two year certification no one will take that from you.Good luck!!!

it would count upon the time reduce for employing. that is probably too late now at many faculties because the approach on their end takes months. you'll might want to contact the admissions workplace of the college and ask.
