I'm writing a historical romance and am wondering which place might be a better setting: either Hertfordshire.....or Herefordshire. And they can't be located too far from London. And aslo, does the two places contrast drastically in scenery?? I need a place with lowly rolling hills....cast fields and pastures..... you know, lols. What is it like in the two places?

I would use Herefordshire, as it has a lot of hills.

The best way to find out what your settings are like is to go there.. that is what I do.
