sound, this is legal right? the cops told me I had to stop it because I was scaring the neighboors, who thought it was real guns. what is your opinion.

There are ordinances against noise pollution. It usually applies to volume, but I imagine your situation could apply. It could go under the category of terrorizing the neighborhood or nuisance noise.
It pays to be considerate to the people around you.

I take it that you are fed up with the neighbors. Otherwise you seem to be desperately seeking attention. If you are retaliating, playing crass music loud, if they are doing something to spite you, is one thing, but the gunshot preference indicates, to me and surely others, a predisposition in you're pyche to playing out your fantasies of murdering people. God help you and the locals!

Try not to scare your neighbors any further. Scared people tend to do stupid things like reach for a real gun.

I don't see why you are surprised they called the police.
But if you are disturbing the peace (which is what you are doing, and are a moron for even doing this), they have every right to shut you down.

For me, I wouldn't play gun fire loud enough to
frighten anyone.
