I know that when you get a TATOO you cant donate blood ... But are you able to donate blood after a certin amount of time after getting the tatoo?
if so how long after?

At one time those with tattoos had to wait a certain amount of time before giving blood. Now places like the red cross will take blood from those who have had a tattoo at a tattoo parlor licensed by the state you live in.

I didn't know that you can't donate blood if you got a tatoo...I have been donating for years. If that is the case...oooops!!

It depends on the state. I lived in Illinois and then moved to Missouri, and the laws are very different.

in australia it's a year, not sure about other places
