It's gathered, grinded, yeasted, rolled out, roasted, left to cool. What other animal does this? Do you think it's healthy?

yeah well just because I don't die immediately from it, doesn't make it healthy.

I bet you all think it's "natural" to die at 70 and that every organism suffers from the same rate of cancer, diabetes, and heart disease that humans do?

ALMOST every animal will eat bread if you give it to them.
Just because they can't MAKE it does not mean they won't eat it -- and enjoy it too.

Besides a lot of animals "prepare" their food. For example, spiders will inject insects with dissolving fluid and eat only after several days.

Anyway, just because a product is hard to produce does not make it unhealthy in itself, even if it is unnatural.
I will need hard scientific evidence with a long term experiment and a large control group showing that ANYTHING is bad for me before i will believe it.

This bread made for a good case during the salem witch hunts. The spoiling of it rather set the stage for bewitching. Ergot poisoning, the main ingredient in LSD, is linked to those accused of being bewitched.

Other than that, it tastes good with peanut butter. How should I know if it's healthy? Leave me alone.

If it's made from whole grain, like stone-ground wheat, then yes. If it's made with ultra-refined white flour that's had the germ and most of the nutrients removed by going through a long process in a factory, then NO. I think the abundance of refined grains is one of the biggest problems in the American diet.

In regards to the answer from Ayrus, that's not such a good idea. My dog has a habit of eating rocks that come out of my shoe.

Why don't you try this, every time before eating feed it to your dog/pet animal. If it accepts you can also eat it.
Occasionally you try can cross check also, try to share with your fellow A/Human beings to have feel good factor.
