A maple leaf?

Actually, I don't think Canada is in danger of being invaded by Mexicans.

Well, being a San Franciscan, I don't see that much difference:

- 'Progressive' government, check.
- Lots of taxes, check.
- Legalized pot, check.
- Same-sex marriage, check.
- No religious right, check.
- Universal health care, coming in 2007.
- Environmentalism, check.

But then again San Francisco is barely part of the United States....Perhaps we should, as Bill O'Reilly so often suggests, just get it over with and petition Parliament to become part of Canada (or alternatively, join the EU).

canada is refered to as a sald bowl.immigrants can come and keep their own culture traditions and value (why ??we respect other cultures as well as our own )...the us is refered to as a melting pot !! Canadians consider peace first ....cleaner cities...sorry thats just what I noticed while driving thourgh the states comapred to canada .our social issues are slightly different as well !!! We can respect another country without placing it down . Ie at hockey games we do nt boo back another countries national anthem though they might of booed ourw with no repsect .
pardon moi ?? the guy below that does not think american politicians are corupt and greedy as well ...I think you need to learn about politics ....all country have that ....like they say power leads to corruptness .... America has many political scandals as well if not even more...As for mexicans invading ...hmmm their is alot if indian immigration here ...I saw a stats on it we're pretty much equal with you there...and to the girl who says marijuana is legalized ..to correct you have a certain amount that if you get caught you won't be chrged ..if you plan to start laying yor roots down in canada to grow it ...you'll have the RCMP knocking at your door in a massive raid...if you think canada is just maple syrup and hockey ...obviously you dont know anything about CANADA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your probably one of those visitors who in the middle of summer come in your winter jacket off the plane !

Canada: beer, pot, real freedom of speech, nicer people, better ski hills, better hockey players, cheaper, cleaner, just better.

USA: more consumer choices, better concerts and entertainment, better defence system, interesting (mostly comical) government, better surfing.

Besides the spelling? One likes to be on top, the other on the bottom- it's a very nice relationship, though sometimes they switch their positions.
