i understand why they say it now but for years and years they left it the way it is and now all of a sudden they have to change it... just something that gets on the ole nerves

Actually, RBI is the way it should be said. RBI stands for Runs Batted In. When people say RBIs they are saying Runs Batted Ins. Sort of like saying ATM machine. It's redundant.

It's just strange but I don't think it's PC, but actually the correct way to say it. Think about it RBIs means Runs Batted Ins, if you read it as it is written. That makes less sense.

No. RBI is correct, so it's better when they say that. It's not politically correct, it's common sensically correct.
