My friend is getting married, and would like to cover her tatoo with something that won't rub off on her dress.

If a band aide is not an option try this:
"HOW DO I TEMPORARILY COVER UP A TATTOO?

If you are going to a job interview or some other event that requires
you to conceal your tattoos (and clothing is not an option), there are
two cosmetic products recommended:
1. Joe Blasco's line of theatrical cosmetics
2. Dermablend cover-up make-up, which is used by people who have
vitiligo (Michael Jackson's mysterious melanin-loss disease), scars,
birthmarks and tattoos.

For Blasco products, check with your local theater supply store (or your
local theater--they might be able to supply you, or refer you to their
direct number). Dermablend is available at cosmetic counters."

See, this is EXACTLY why I question tattoos. If it's not appropriate for any phase in your life, then why get one?

Though I appreciate the artists that do them...I mean, their work is awesome...I just cannot imagine having a permanent drawing on my skin.

And it irks me even further when they're on the small of your back, butt, or anywhere you can't see...what's the point?!? haha

But anyway, off my tyrade, I think just plain old concealer works well.

What about an invisible band-aid. All jokes aside they make band-aids that you can't see. Not unless she might want to get Sponge Bob, or Dora the Explorer band-aids.
Good Luck!

My friend had the same problem, I'd have to ask her what she did, but I believe she put some coverup on it then put that clear band-aid stuff on it, you know that kind that you squeeze out and rub on.

have your friend call the tattoo shop. they will probably have a product. or, go to a cosmetics store that has a salon or a professional makeup artists... they probably have a relatively inexpensive product to recommend.

Try oil based concealer. Actually if you look online, they have tattoo cover-up, but I don't remember what it is called.

Try this...

If that don't work then use a Band-Aid.
