3x^2 + 15x - 5 = 7 + 3 + 3x^2 Distribute
15x = 15 subtract 3x^2 from both sides
x = 1 divide both sides by 15

I'm assuming 3x2 inside the last parentheses means 3 times x to the 2nd power. So...Left side of the equation first (^ means raised to that power)
3x(x+5)-5 Distribute the 3x so
=3x^2+15x-5 You can't simplify this side anymore
Right side of the equation:
7+(3+3x^2) Distribute the +1 (which is understood)
=7+3+3x^2 Combine "like terms"
=10+3x^2
So now, writing the left side and right side next to each other, you have:
3x^2+15x-5=10+3x^2 subtract 3x^2 from both sides, you get:
15x-5=10 add 5 to both sides, you get:
15x=15 divide both sides by 15 to get x by itself.
x=1

3x(x+5)-5 = 7+(3+3x2)
3X^2 + 15 - 5 = 7 + 3 + 6
3X^2 = 7 + 3 + 6 - 15 + 5
3X^2 = 6
x^2 = 2
x = +/- sqrt(2)

confirmed x=1 because
3x(x+5)-5=7+(3+3x2) {assuming 3x2 is 3*x^2}
3x^2+15x-5=7+3+3x^2
0x^2, 15x=15
x=1

3x(x + 5) - 5 = 7 + (3 + 3x^2)
3x^2 + 15x - 5 = 7 + 3 + 3x^2
3x^2 + 15x - 5 = 10 + 3x^2
15x - 5 = 10
15x = 15
x = 1
