It wasn't that the USA Team didn't care, it was that they can't play against good teams. C'mon, their hardest opponants outside the world cup are Mexico. The USA Have a really crappy Footy team, get over it.

Most dissappointing team, England. This was our year, all the talent came into play for this one world cup, it was the perfect time, next world cup our best players will be out of their prime (except rooney) and we'll be an average team again.

Holland.

Played in such a cynical way, so unlike free-flowing attacking football most people would have expected. Realism is necessary, but not at the expense of spirit.

Coach made spectacular mistakes that cost his team against Portugal:
1 Keeping a defender yellow carded for violent foul when deciding to remove a defender to switch to a more attacking formation.
2 Failing to remove Van Bommel when it was clear he was getting 'stuck-in' too often.
3 Failing to put Van Nistelrooy in the position of Kuyt when it was obvious Kuyt isn't as predatory in the box and couldn't finish the many chances he had.

Second place would go to Brazil who didn't make the most of their players; the sum of the players was greater than the team.

Poland, England, the Czech Republic, and Brazil. Poland because they didnt advance, England because although they made the quarterfinals, they didnt deserve to based on their play, the Czech Republic because they didnt advance, and Brazil for me because they didnt make the semifinals, let alone the final. I think the Czech Republic fans are probably the most dissapointed of the lot. After the United States game, things looked great, and then they got shocked by Ghana and lost to Italy. So the Czech Republic, with England a close second for their awful play.

My biggest disappointment is always when Argentina loses, simply because it's my country and my favorite team. However, I'm proud to say that they played well, unlike Brazil or England. They had more expectations and failed to meet them, while Argentina's fans didn't dare hope for another Cup until we saw the second and third games, and even then we were careful not to hope too much.

this must be Brazil mainly because nearly the whole universe feared its strength in soccer. above all the team has got terribly efficient players of world standards that really deserved a good part of the trophy. Brazil dissappointed everybody who knows real soccer and its factors.

I am a huge brazil fan..I really must say that Brazil was the biggest disappointment in the entire world cup.
The played worse than ever. I think even kids can play better than them during this world cup. Totally devastating. I have no words to even describe this huge disappointment.

England without a doubt. The players we took there we should have played better.Even with the injuries, we still on paper had a world beating team. Some players never even got a game, good holiday for them. The fault rests with Sven, he was the manager and must carry the can.Why on earth did he send a proven goal-scorer home in place of an 17 year old who has hardly played in the premiership.Bad decision.4 strikers, 2 injured before they stepped off the plane.Bad decision, even Steve McClaren told him that.

Brazil in the fact that they're out of the final for the first time since 1990 (I'm pretty sure about that), but I gotta say Togo was the super disappointment. Sure, teams can lose all three, but to consider not even playing cause you're not getting paid enough? Please! Represent your fans and your country!
