Fender makes good electric guitars, but honestly, I prefer other brands for acoustic. I bought a nice washburn for a ocmparable price. They make affordable, sturdy, well made and rgeat sounding guitars. I'd avoid Fender. My friend had a stratacoustic and it's sound was very tiny and it didn't have any bass. If you've played the telecoustic and like the sounds, then go for it. But many people I've talked to dislike that model.

not really... you could get one of those on Ebay for as low as $100. There are a lot of things to consider, including how good of shape it's in... but I'd say it better be in perfect condition to go for $200. Fender is a well-known brand name, but the telecoustic is far from one of its top models. If it's new or like new, and comes with gig bag, I'd take it.

If it's a Fender, and in good condition and not terribly old, $200 is a good price, if it's authentic. The trouble is there are so many Chinese knockoffs of big brand names, including Fender. Buy from a reputable source.

The Telecoustics made in China warp up easy. If you find one made in Korea or Japan ..go for it.
