I have a tubal ligation scheduled for the end of the month. I am 26 with one child.Before I have this procedure done is there something else doc's can do to stop menstrual cycle also while am already having surgery?Thanks,Carlamac100k

First of all REALLY do some soul searching and make sure you want the tubal ligation, had it done and REGRET it, I have two children and one adopted...Its a personal decision, just offering some advice from the other perspective :) I also wanted to know if there would be something they could do while in there to stop my menstrual cycles, nothing can be done sweetie, other than the depo shot or the birth control pill method but who the heck wants to deal with that after having a tubal...oh the joys of womanhood! You can have a procedure called Cryoblation it is where they freeze your uterus to stop your period. Check in to that.
