Most of the time it is out of desperation for money. The money is obviously for supplying the woman with her wants and needs. Other women have been known to go into the business for the pure sake of attention.

It is so hard to believe that someone would go into the pornography industry because they simply enjoy having sex? I'm not trying to dismiss the fact that some individuals turn to porn out of desperation, but there are many others who love their sexuality and want to do it for a career. Pornography is nothing to be ashamed of, and, if regulated safely, can be a very promising career.
I'd also like to point out that this question never asks why men choose to go into the pornography industry... sexual double standard?

Women go into porn for a variety of reasons. Some like the easy money, some think exchanging American dollars for sex is a great deal, some are exercising exhibitionist streaks, a few may be looking for love in all the wrong places, the result of sexual abuse.
Why do people go into firefighting? Why do people do anything?

It's actually pretty sad in most cases. If you read the stories of their lives, they are girls who were sexually abused as children. They have no self esteem. Many became prostitutes or escorts and hooked up with pimps. The next step was the porn "industry." Keep in mind that this is somebody's daughter, a human being who is being used like a toilet.

Some of them came to Hollywood to become actresses.But when they could find no work they started modelling.Then the clothes come off and the porno starts.I think it takes a while to work through the stages but I think a lot of them progress this way.

For others, it is a caliber of easy money without working too hard.
Some were sexually abused and discovered they could turn their early-attained carnal knowledge to their benefit.
