They just practice daily and starve themselves before the competition and sometimes the good ones don't throw up at all.

They stretch out their stomachs with gallons of water before they eat. I know that guy eats those dogs like there is no tomorrow! He does not have a gag reflex or some thing. Yes, they probably do throw up afterwards.

Skinny people are better competitive eaters because has more room to expand. Fat people have a layer of fat around theire stomach that makes it harder to expand. Just goes to show you ther is alot to be said for excercise.

I am not sure how they prepare but I sorta do hope they throw up afterwards. Can you imagine what a big dump you'd have to take after all that? Eww!!

That Japanese guy actually has a malformed stomach where that his is far below his waist so when it expands it does so upwardly in his abdomen... I have seen him eat hundreds of plates of food and then show it on MRIs. Best wishes

they train to eat a lot and they get big stomachs. maybe they have bulimia nervosa. dono.. mmmmmm but i saw that hot dog eating contest and that japanese guy was munching down. he ate like 49 hot dogs. he has no life. so...... ya.

BTW the record set today was 53 1/3 hotdogs in approx. 13 minutes

70 hotdogs in 3 minutes///////////// You're NASTY I think someone could actually die trying that.
