It would be cool, but for some reason, it doesn't look like it will be happening anytime soon.

The explosion of Latinos in this country is getting me thinking they will have a president before the blacks do. They are already a larger part of the population and since they reproduce like rabbits we could have a Latino president in about 30 years. To be fair the race or nationality are irrelevant. People need to use a persons accomplishments and image as a guide in voting not the skin color or heritage stuff. If a person is a natural born citizen they qualify. Period. I just hope this country last long enough to have a minority president.

Being a person "of color" is not a prerequisite to become the President pf the United States. Most Presidential candidates come from either Congress or State Houses (Governors). At the present time, we have few people in either category. However, that does not have to remain that way. I believe America would accept a black president if he or she has the right credentials.

No, because there are too many racism people in America. Too many American citizens wouldn't want to have somebody of a different color run America. I would vote for a different race president as long as I liked what they said they would do for the country. I know many people that wouldn't vote for them. I know some people that say that African American people don't belong in America that they belong in Africa. I disagree.

If there weren't a lot of racism then yes maybe they could be president some day.
