I think they are dangerous and loud and boring. I hate them alot. I am so scared of them that I can't enjoy them. Everyone else in my family likes them. One 4th of July at night it was chilly, I was a teenager and had one this whole piece PJ set that was that hot itchy stuff. We were way back from the starting point. The firework came crashing to the ground and ran into me and caught my clothes on fire. I have been terrified ever since.

Not me!!! I love them! Maybe it's because I was never taken to fireworks displays as a kid. Seriously, I saw my first fireworks display when I was 20! I've taken my kids to see the fireworks every year now, and I always take lots of pictures.
Yeah, I may be just a tad obsessed.....

No, actually they're pretty thrilling to me, especially with really good background music, like fast classical music or something else really upbeat and snappy. Throw in some huge red, white and blue bursts with a patriotic track playing in the background and it's even possible to give me goosebumps!

Not only it is boring but also dangerous too especially to kids. The aftermath of this resulting in danger is that it causes fire hazards as well by mistake if it explodes then the kids may loose their eye sight as well as deformity. So i hate the same.

damn, U read my mind... I didn't mind the ole man dragging me to 'em when I was a kid (mostly so he could curl up somewhere and drink his Buds) but I had to force myself to take the kids to 'em later when I grew up.. (ugh.) Yeah, what's so great about fireworks/the 4th of July? (whoopie..) liked the answers about shootin' em off in chickens.. hell, whatever- lol

Yeah I hate them. the feeling of fun was gone after many times. Just finished watching underworld with my family. also boring.

Yes, my 3 yr old granddaughter. We took her tonight and we were only there maybe 10 minutes and she wanted to go home. We stayed for the whole show, and she was NOT a happy camper....:)

I wouldn't say I think they are boring, I am definitely scared of getting burned. I was always taught that if you play with fire you get burned! It has always proven to be true!

They're not as fun at all to watch on TV. But up close they are really cool and sometimes absolutely amazing.
