You need to be enrolled in a Federally Recognized Tribe. The government will give you more funding if you go into a health field. Your tribe will also give you funding for school, you need to keep your GPA up.

The US federal government doesn't decide if you are an American Indian or not. The individual tribes have various rules regarding who they consider part of their nation or not.

You have to be at least 1/4 and you MUST be able to prove it, I know, my daughter is part Iroquois on her dad's side.
