It's been 2 years. I still LOVE him.Whenever I see something, it reminds me of him. I still think and talk about him sometimes.. I have tried dating MANY guys, all of which didn't work out. They are just not as fun, exciting, smart and sweet as my ex. I was the cause of the break-up. Could it be guilt?? I have ignored and stopped talking to him since the break-up, thinking it will help me get over him, but it hasn't. He has been in a relationship with this girl for sometime now. I constantly have to see them together for we work in the same place. He still stares, checks-me out..etc..which is not helping! What should I do??

The odd part is I don't get jealous or upset when I see him and her together.

why don't you try to talk to him and see if there is a chance that he still feels the same for you? you might both be feeling the same thing and maybe you can get back together. not knowing makes it worse to move on!

I think you should remember the reason(s) WHY you broke up in the first place. It couldn't have been as great as you remember, otherwise you'd still be together, right? At least in my own experiences, it's very easy to only remember the good things and forget about all the negatives when you're looking back on a relationship, especially if it wasn't a horrible ending. But you just have to remember why things didn't work out, and realize that it's only human to be jealous when you see someone you used to be in a relationship with, and they're with someone new.

That is something that you have to learn to help yourself with.
What I would recommend is sitting and talking with him sometime. It sounds like you two are still in love.
When you are with a person for so long, the feelings never diminish.

Talk it out. See what he says.

I had the same problem one time, and the only thing I did was think of why we broke up and that I could find someone better than him...and thats what I did, I started dating his best friend...and now were married!

If you are serious about getting over this, change jobs now! Talk about being a victim. Go fly, be free, get a life and a new love. Now! Good luck
