put moth balls around areas the flea carrieir is, also inside couch and chairs, just about any where pets and children can't get to them, it kills the egg. also put some in vacuum cleaner bags. once you start getting rid of the fleas this is good to keep them away. and cheap too.

I don't know how bad your flea problem is but if all else fails the one thing that definately works is to take your rabbit outside in a cage or carrier now that it is warm and spray him out doors so the he is well ventilated - ask your vet for a good flea spray for your rabbbit . Then have someone sit with your rabbit while you FLEA BOMB your house or apartment. You have to put all dishes and eating utensils away, put food away and stored air tight. Remove all other pets and plants, close your windows and set off the flea bombs and RUN out and wait at least 4 to 5 hours before coming back into your house or apartment. I have a small 4 room apartment , I put a flea bomb in EACH room except the bathroom since fleas don't stay on the tiles. But they will hide in cracks on wood floors and carpet and sofas and drapes, etc., etc. They are a big pain! Make sure you get a flea bomb for indoors that says it kills adult fleas AND EGGS. Also make sure any toys the bunny chews on and his food and bowls are not exposed to the flea bomb too..this stuff is serious and IS a pain in the A to deal with but I promise it works. I had to do it once when my apartment and dog and two cats were infested and regular flea sprays and such would no longer do the trick. Good Luck and if you do follow my advice be really careful with the flea bombs and read the directions carefully-they are expensive also but it really works!

The pour baby. I use tearless shampoo in a when in a bind. Anything that makes bubbles should suffocate most of the fleas if you leave it on for at least five minutes. Then hit the pet store for a small animal flea spray. They should also be able to help you with the rest. Check out the house rabbit society they may be able to help you more.

Use flea spray and powder in a unmarried room of the domicile, close that room off till you're positive that the fleas are gone. provide your Pugs a flea bath, accurate after the tub placed them interior the closed off room, cope with something else of your position fantastically the position they sleep, be positive that the fleas are useless interior of something else of the domicile earlier allowing them to out of the room.in simple terms be positive that the fumes from the flea medicine isn't too strong earlier putting them interior the dealt with room and once you enable them out.I had 4 cats and this remedy become very affective in getting rid if the fleas. After treating them take them to the vet to get the front line flea remedy medicine. even as the fleas get on them and chunk they are going to finally die and they wont have the ability to provide any extra eggs.

Yahoo Search for diatomaceous earth, you can eat the stuff, and they use it in grease filters in restaurants, but it makes microscopic cuts in insect bodies, and dries them out so they die. Check the data and see if it kills fleas, since insects are not all the same.
They also add for extra money, some stuff made from mums, that makes it more lethal, but then one might not want to eat it any more.

at the pet store or any pet store you go to they have special sprays to put on your couch and everything. it has no scent and it works almost instantly...but after u spray i suggest evacuating the house because they jump EVERYWHERE!!! dont use it on animals it might break out their skin.
