When you buy the cheep stuff you actually dont save money in the long run. Your clothes look worse therefore wear out faster or at least they look old. You save all around by buying Tide or Cheer.

Do you know that saying that goes "you get what you pay for"...well, that's true with laundry detergent too. The cheaper brands may work, but your clothes may be "dingy" and they also don't get the odors out and you also have to use more detergent. My suggestion to you from experience is buy the the best....."Buy Tide!"

I think that Tide does the best job, when money is tight I buy Purex. With the cheaper brands I find that I have to use more to get the same level of clean that one cap of Tide provides.

I buy Tide and Downy. But I buy it from the Dollar General store or Family Dollar. It's name brand but a fraction of the price. I also get my other cleaning products from those stores like Lysol counter spray and Clorox. That's my secret.

I use tide, my parents are partial to cheer. I like tide and some nice smelling fabric softner(usually also the expensive stuff) because I'm a massage therapist and the sheets have to feel clean, smooth and smell nice.
