I think it's about the attraction between two individuals. If you were to kiss a guy and feel absolutely no thrill or rush from it, you might be a little worried. Maybe you didn't have a physical attraction to him? Maybe he is not into you? If he is not a passionate kisser, maybe he is a dull guy (personality-wise)? Most girls want a guy that can sweep her off of her feet and leave her breathless. When he kisses her, she gets weak in the knees. Well, if she doesn't experience that, maybe she will NEVER get to experience it!? What if this guy just doesn't give off that spark?
I think it has a lot to do with our society's perception of the "perfect" kiss, and what it has to be like. We assume the 'first kiss' is supposed to be this momentous moment, with fireworks and people clapping (watch in the movies...the kisses are dramatized) where, upon kissing him, everything just falls into place and we live happily ever after. We forget that it is not reality. In all actuality, things may even be WEIRD after the first kiss! lol

If anything, the first kiss is very symbolic. It shows that they are entering adulthood. The first kiss dosen't prove anything about love. For example, I was talking to someone about their first kiss. She was at party and got kissed by some drunk guy. I know my first kiss was in my room, but I had already fallen in love with that girl.

dont beleive that dont base your kisses on that...it is just a saying i think it has no truth in it.... you might feel good when you first kiss someone.. call it... physical attraction but it really takes time and you to know the person to know if there is love between you two.. if there is something more that lust or a little chemistry...

Because They Feel that If he kiss great then the relationship will be wonderful I know that my best friend bases her relationship on his kiss he it is not right then it is over . She was going with this guy for two years and one day he kiss her wrong and she broke up with him because of it . That crazy !!!!!

cus these stupid movies! My first kiss sucked and most of them afterward. I guess that we know that most of them are bad, so if u get a good one then that really means something

CAUSE THAT IS THE VERY FIRST KISS AND THEY STILL AREN'T EXPERIENCED, SO THEY THINK THAT THEIR FIRST KISS WILL MEAN SO MUCH IT WOULD TELL THEM EVERYTHING ABOUT LOVE:)
