Hey some of the multi-shot ariel fireworks ( the ones that come in boxes and shoot multiple fireworks into the air) come with plastic over the top. Do I remove the plastic or do the fireworks shoot through it?

Remove the plastic... The firework won't have enough velocity to break through it fully and may get diverted from its course on its way out.
