I recently started my own home based business selling Watkins products and I am looking for ideas on how to build a bigger customer base. How can I get the word out there? I don't have a lot of money that I can invest.

Hi,

watkins as in " Watkins Products are sourced and crafted from
the finest herb, spice, botanical and natural sources." ?? ..sauces ?

you need to educate people of the benefits of using Watkins. .
advertise locally via Flyers. . you could talk to the local newspaper carrier. . & do a campaign with them . . .to insert flyers into the newspaper. (some investment).. If your not involved in your community. . start to. .a successfull businessman has a lot of contacts. start socially networking with people that would use these products. (your target market)

visualize, plan, & then Execute!. .

Success will follow. . in time

1) Create a blog pertaining to your field

2) Use Yahoo! Local & Yahoo! Groups – Be sure to read the TOS for each one!

3) Write articles pertaining to your field and/or expertise.

4) Advertise on Craiglist

Also, consider signing up for an affiliate program. These programs enable you to advertise on other's sites (your affiliates) and once a sale is made to you, your affiliates & the program are paid a commission.
