Colin_W: I'm an Italian fan, but not racist at all. Italy usually plays according to their opponent's skills. Now, you may not like this because you want to see spectacular soccer *always* and I respect that. It's a strategy that pays off, though. Anyway, back to the game vs the USA, I honestly think that they just underrated your team. That's why they couldn't do better against them.

No. I am not. I have never been less happy about a team going to the final. Never! I hope Portugal beats them in the final. That would serve them right. I mean honestly, do you really want the world cup winner to be a team that couldnt even beat the United States with a man advantage for half the game? DO YOU? So no. I am not extremely happy about Italy going to the final. I hope their league implodes and takes all of their players except Buffon, Zambrotta, and Grosso with it. GO PORTUGAL.

Just happy it's not the Germans. Can't say I'm too excited about Italy- a team which managed to draw with the oh-so-competitive United States.

Sure I am. The Italians played better and they got more chances, especially in the extra time - one hit the post and the other one hit the cross-bar, within 2 minutes. The Germans were too eager to attack and left the defense empty, which the Italians could seize the opportunities. I like both goals, cool and calm, worldclass soccer.

Hey Collin you chimp. Would you rather have the team that couldn't score against the U.S. or the team that couldn't beat that team in the WC final. Plus, the only goal the U.S. scored was when the Italians scored on themselves - cuz it appears no one else can

at least the germans lost, that's the good thing about it.
they shouldn't have won the game on argentina in the first place...it was totally unfair. argentina was A LOT better. they lost just because of those stupid penaltys.
italy's not a bad team so......yeah we're happy ;)

I never would have guess they made it this far judging from previous play. However, they made it and prove a lot of people wrong. One more team and the cup will be back home where it belong.
