I am starting college in the fall and very confused as to what to major in. Right now, I am signed up as an education major. Could a degree in elem. ed help me become a children's librarian?

See if your college has some kind of program for library science; there are only a few that I know of, Kent State University being one of them. Talk to your local librarian also and get their opinion on what you can major in.

Double majoring in Library Science and education would probably be helpful.

Or, majoring in Library Science and minoring in education.
