Both parents should agree you both have to call this child by that name. I had twins and we had trouble with one of the babies name it took us a month to decide. I was still pregnant though.

The parents of the child - although I am more inclined to let my partner name the children, only because in his past relationship he has 2 children and was not allowed any input in their names!

me and my husband have talked about that, and we decided that if we have a boy, he can choose the name, and if we have a girl, I can choose the name. That's just what we decided. Some may think its stupid, but I dont care.

That's basically up to you. My husband and I shared naming....he picked the middle name and I picked the first name. Of course we both had to agree!

Well with my first child,we both picked the first name and I picked the middle name and with my second child, my oldest and I picked the first name and my husband picked the middle name!! I think it just depends on what name you like.

THE CHILD! I've have to go to court to legally change mine.
Some tribes actually have a naming ceremony when the child is old enough to name themselves.

the mother's mom. a.k.a, the baby's grandma, on mom's side.
i don't know. if the parents can't decide, then have the grandma choose.
