Ever go out trick or treating with your spouse and kid(s), dump candy out on the kitchen table just to see that you've scored more candy than the youngins'?? Fun part is I get to do it all over again once my 11 month old starts trick or treating. You're never too old to have that much fun.

Personally, I could get into the spirit even now at 29, however, I don't know how things are in the part of the world you're in, but around here, people and just generally scared of one another, and do not allow the open social interactions between kids that I was able to enjoy when I was young... Halloween is pretty much dead in Metro Detroit.

When you are 120 years old LOL I went with the kids last year and had a great time.
If you are 40 and are going alone, you might freak a few people out. Take your nephew or someone under the age of 12 :-)

Fourteen years old. That is when high school begins and its time for trick or treat to end and more 'teenage' oriented parties to start.

I still do and I'm 18 but now I don't really take it seriously and I just go to houses around mine if I see they have good stuff. The last time I really took it seriously and went around to a ton of houses was 8th grade.

I went until my senior year in high school. Eveyone in our small town did. The last five or six years or so we all wore camo like the pranksters. But we just got candy. I ate the candy when I took my kids when they were babies. Everyone knew they couldn't eat it.
