It will supposedly be a 2007/2008 model that you won't officially see until later this year at the earliest. There are lots of spy photos out on the web now, although those don't necessarily look like the final product. Here are two recent sightings:

The old model (e46) is already out of production. The new M-coupe and M-roadster based on the Z4 are already in production, with the s54 I-6 engine. The new (e90) M3 is thought to be a 2008 model, and there is also talk of an M4 being produced (2/4 door models). Check out this link for more info and pictures of all the models:

at the end of this yr.
the new M3 was pictured already on the internet.
some guy was driving it around san mateo, ca..it was dark blue or black colored.
it has a v8 engine..no more inline 6.
it will have close to 400hp i believe and probably cost as much as a house.
