If they look up, can they see as high as our faces? I'm just wondering if they can see who is stepping on them.

I am not sure they can even look up, their head would have to bend way back to see up and I don't think their brains even think to look up. I can't see ant going around looking upwards to even look for us..it seems above their intelligence to do so..
It is probably like....surprise, oh I am dead

Many ants have very small eyes and poor vision, they "see" by using their antennaeas as sensors.

They can't see that far with what we consider vision. However they do have heightened senses. So they can sense danger, when change in the wind comes ( when you are walking by them) or change in heat (when you body is near), etc.

they cant see, only feel and sense... allah has created he knows how they can live..
