N2FC Has the correct answer.
Also read your employment handbook (or ask your boss) You could also get JAIL TIME for doing this!
I also liked jibberjabbar answer. lol
And like alexmercerscott said, If it's a valid reason ask your IT Department.

You can setup a remote desktop link witch will allow you to use your Home PC from work. It's also pretty safe to set up depending on what program you use.
I tryed out 4 remote desktop programs and the best I found is Logmein.
You can go to the website and read more about it. All you need to do is leave the PC on at home with an active Internet connection then you need to install a program on your Home PC and finally you need to be able to use a web browser at work.
You can set it up with more then 1 password for extra protection and from what I have found it is very , safe and easy to use. But your work might have ways of detecting it. The only record that will appear at work is that you went to the site logmein. And you can use alt+tab to go toggle your home PC and your work PC.
It will probably take you 1 hour to read and check everything and like maybe an other hour to install and set it all up and it has many options to set. You can make your Home PC's desktop look just like your work desktop so your supervisors will have a hard time telling. And I said it before but I will say it again you do not need to install anything on your work PC at all.
I used to do it at school all the time and it works well.

You can unblock most websites and without being traced in the Middle East and all places for that matter if you install a solid VPN app on your computer or tablet/phone. Once you have this activated you will be abe to view all sites without the censorship.

It's not always security reasons. Our company will not allow any site ending in .info, for example www.wappifilm.info, to be displayed. The reason from our IT department was that the bosses in Atlanta were not aware that .info sites were useable (along with .gov, .ac.uk, etc) and so they automatically come up as page cannot be displayed.
If it is a valid reason you need a restricted site, contact your IT department.

How much do you value your job? Are you willing to get fired for violating their security protocols?
If sites are restricted, it is probably for a good reason, and it is totally within your employer's rights to do so.
Trying to bypass these security protocols is usually grounds for dismissal with cause.

I have heard that sex with your admin always works.
Then again there is such a thing as doing "some real work for the paycheck", that you feel you have some kind of entitlement too!
