I cant watch Tv because my nephews and nieces are addicted to their Barney DVD's . damn that dinosaur is so annoying. 1 more thing baby bop looks like a talking bacteria.

Take nephews/nieces outside to play tag, swingset, kickball, freeze tag, Red light/Green Light, hide-n-seek. If need to stay inside, grab remote, turn off and play, color, make-up puppet shows...They could even make their own Barney and act him out.--at least then you wouldn't have to hear his annoying voice and mannerisms yet they can get their Barney fill.
Look out:: This means the Wiggles are next!!!!!!!!!!!!
Instead of: Buy'em a Thomas the Tank Engine or Little Bear DVD--much, much more stimulating without annoying characters

Look, let me put it this way. When a child/children are drawn (addicted) to a television show or whatever the case may be. Never change that or make negative remarks about it because you want them to have the right upbringing and not one that a parent wouldn't agree on. For me I don't like the Barney, Teletubbies, Dragontales or Aurthur but I rather my child sit and watch some positive that make him laugh than to watch something negative and go out and carry on like a hoodlum. Think about that, you'll understand.

Barney is annoying until you have small children. Then you appreciate how he keeps them occupied long enough to drink a cup of coffee and read the paper. I am very pro-Barney. Not that I would ever watch him out of free will.

I gladly suffer through the pain of Elmo and Sesame Street with my nephews. Thank goodness they don't watch Barney. Elmo any day compared to Barney.

no he's great.he teaches kids alot of important things.my daughter is only a year and a half,and i started training her to watch barney at 6 months.it is amazing at how much she has learned at such a tender age.she even watches elmo's world and learns from that to.so if u find barney annoying go get another tv and leave the kids alone.u lucky that u don't have to teach them these stuff yourself.now that would be annoying,would'nt it?

LOL yeah even when i was a little kid i hated barney i was like mom can we watch something less dumb lol i like the wheel of furtion try changing the channel 2 that some little kids like it cause the wheel is pretty lol

Barney's voice has changed for the worse, seriously, the new voice actor is terrible. Avoid the new seasons.
