I just got back from hanging out with this guy. He is very nice and sweet. This was kind of our first time we hung out, I don't really belive it was a date or anything. But at then end there was only a kiss on the lips. I don't know somehow I am embaressed. Like if my mom or my friends don't think he is cute than somehow I just don't like him. Such as my mom thought he was eh looking and my Best friend says he not cute. With these ppl saying this I can't let myself like him and If i go somehwere with him where my friends are there I only think about how ugly they may tink he is . PLASE help.. i dont no what to think or do~!

You need to remember not everyone has the same taste in looks. It only matters what you think. Unless he is a jerk then listen to you mom and friends. Besides who's kissing him them or you. Sounds like you need better friends. Most cute or hot guys are jerks that only want one thing from many girls.

You need not worry so much about what everyone else thinks, your the one that has to look at him. Tell them to get a life there prob. jealous anyway and just don't want you having something looking better that theirs. You will never be happy , nor will you ever find someone good enough if you don't stop worrying about what everyone else thinks!

You need to make decisions for yourself and not worry about what others think . You are the one that chooses to be with this person and if you like him don't worry about what your friends think. You shouldn't care what someone looks like. It's what they are like on the inside that counts. If they are nice and you like hanging out with them who knows, you might like him and you might end up being happy together!

You need to trust your first instincts. It's kind of sad how shallow your mom and friends sound. They're guilty of judging a book by its cover. Your mom and friends should be more concerned with him being intelligent, kind, and respectful of you...these things matter more and make a man more attractive than any well-placed dimples or muscles. I think that you must be young. You certainly do not need anyone elses approval in who to like or not like---especially based on something so superficial as 'looks'. If you like him, you should feel confident enough to blow off what others think. I think this comes with maturity.
