I don't think that just electing a new president will solve all of our problems. I think it takes time for a new president's policies and decisions to be felt. Of course, we could always elect somebody who eventually makes things worse as well.

Almost certainly. It is doubtful that there is someone equally as pathetic as the current President -- he's inept enough and has done enough damage for a long time to come, hopefully it can be corrected. It's too bad the next President will inherit the mess that has been left behind, although the current one can always suspend the Constitution under the pretext of "terrorism" (that would be him) and declare martial law as Commander in Chief...

.As long as we just have just the two parties each not represent you or me just their special interest group(both groups are water carriers) there is not a chance.
There won't be any change either as to many American buy into thinking there is a difference and continue to vote party. Most of our elected representative of each party are the same all out of touch with the will of the American people.
Most are working on the One World policy screw the American voters who put them in office.Things are only going to get worse that you can take to the bank.

What's wrong with the U.S. right now? Nothing's changed for me. Besides the fact that I can't speak out on my veiws against homosexuality without fear of suspension while other students can wear rainbows and not speak all day in honor of the gays. But that's not the President's fault.

One can only hope so...unless the next one to be elected is freaking Jeb.. I swear the Bush family is like cockroaches!!!

Then again, whoever the next president is, they are going to have a HUGE mess to clean up. I think it'll take more than 4 yrs. to make everything "better" again.

Who knows as long as voters have no idea what they are voting for or why they are voting for a candidate anything could happen.
That is if they ever get to actually elect the person who is running and he is not set to power by his party machinery.

No, there are so many things that fall out of any one persons hands.... whither they are republican or democrat.... they bring things to the senate and it gets knocked down and they are the ones who catch the blame... I don't think that will ever change, no matter who is in office.

what is so bad?

We have an excellent economy.
We are in a war.... but we're doing well. If a new President were to up and yank our troops out of Iraq, woe to us all, and woe to our men and women who have been fighting.
