You need a 'DSL filter', to separate your DSL modem from your phone, and you need a filter for each phone, even cordless..

Check your filters to see if the phone line hasn't pulled out. Make sure you have plugged the right line to the DSL modem and the right one to the phone. Is the phone connected to the modem or the router? If you have connected it to the router than yeah, because it's supposed to go to the dsl modem not the router modem hole.

Okay, I see you have added some more info. Well the router is using 2.4 gz and the cordless is using 2.4 gz so that is the interference right there. Try to switch the cordless phone to another channel although I doubt that will help.

If it is a cordless phone, you probably have a 2.4 GHz which interferes with your wireless Internet. You need to get a 5.8 GHz phone and you will not have this problem.

why is the phone connected to the mordem? The way I remember it is is to have a spliter and a filter for each phone and no filter for modem.
