I have a lot of good friends, but my REAL good friend is my husband. Every marriage should be like that! :)

I got a lot of real good friends but the ones that are my best are my family. Maybe not by blood but they are there for everything and always there to save my *** when i get in a bind. I like that cause family always sticks together and my friends have been more family to me then my real family has. I cant put a number on how many good friends i have cause i seem to collect them all the time but i have come to realize that it takes being a good friend to make a good friend and u got to be there for those people as they are for you cause friendship is also a two way street.

If your definition of REAL good is the closest of close friends that we've had for years and years and are still in close contact and can discuss a wide variety of subjects with... then a person can't have more than a handful of REAL good friends.
I would have three that I would consider very close friends. My wife, my college buddy, and a former colleague I've known for ten years now who has become a close friend.

I have at least 5 real good friends. But for some reason now drop to less than 5.

1..she is the one that I can count on at 4 in the morning when the kids are sick to run to the store and get me something for the fever. She is the one that spends 3 years looking for a Cabbage Patch Doll w/ the same b-day as your child (just b/c your child mention how neat it would be)
Don't get me wrong...I have many friends..but just the ONE real good one.
And yeah since I noticed everyone else said it..My Hubby...

the thing is...you will go for a long time thinking that you have a real friend until you find that your friend is sleeping with your wife or girl friend...who needs them!!!
