Oklahoma is a fine state. I have lived here all my life, 34 years. It is not flat, the northeast part is green, hilly and has lots of trees and lakes. There are two medium sized cities that are very metropolitan. Oklahoma City has really become nice in the last 10 years or so. They have a wonderful downtown area called Bricktown. Lots of great places to eat in OKC. Tulsa is nice too, lots of museums, and beautiful historic art deco buildings. The majority of the state it self is rural, many people involved in agriculture and oil and gas production. There is many industries in Oklahoma too. Aviation is big here. The highways are good, and it is an easy state to get around in. Crime in Tulsa is becoming a problem, lots of murders, but mostly gang related, so if you are not in a gang you are usually OK. There is quite a bit to do here if you like the outdoors, boating, swimming, hiking, biking. It is a good state to live in, plus it is right in the middle of America, so it is easy to travel to other places.

I'm from Oklahoma. I have lived in SW ok, Central OK, and currently live in SE Ok. Yes, the SW can be pretty flat w/ very little trees, but it isn't that way at all in SE Oklahoma. It is full of trees and hills and lakes. There are some nice state parks in Oklahoma and it is great it you like to hunt! Yes, we may be a little country, but I don't consider myself to be a "redneck." This is a place where I like to raise my kids. They are surrounded by family and friends. Yes, we know our neighbors for miles away. So, yes, I like Oklahoma

I go to Tulsa often and though I enjoy the shopping, there is a lot that I think is totally retarded. The laws on alcohol being the most retarded. Don't ever get a drink in Oklahoma....you won't find any alcohol in it.

I don't know. I have never been there before. But I want to so much. Me and my friends are going on a road trip around the US. And I want to go there so badly.
Anyway, what I think of is probably country. Because it is a southern state. I also think of, I don't know why, but family. Kinda homey. But, that is only a Floridians opinion. lol

Yes I do, it's my home state, maybe it's not as big and fast paced as the other states, but it's a good place to live! We have the Hornets temporarily and I think that's a good plus for us!!!

I've never been there.
This probably sounds VERY stereotypical, but rednecks immediately come to mind.
