Are there any good clubs, bars, anything to do at night? It seems like everything closes at 9pm

Don't listen to the bitter person above me. :P Sure, it's not an easy city to get rich or drunk in, but it's still got enough fun for those who seek it.
I'm from SLC and have an active nightlife. There's a decent amount to do at night. You have your large multi-level dance clubs like Vortex and Area 51, your large bars like Port O'Call and Greenstreet. There's tons of smaller neighborhood bars as well, for those looking for a more cozy experience. (I personally enjoy Gino's the most of those.) All generally start at 9 PM, get hoppin' by 10-10:30 PM and last call (by law) at 12:30 AM. Usually you'll find most close by 1:00 AM, unfortunately. (I've found a few that will let people linger a bit longer.)
It mostly depends on what you'd like...but there is plenty to do after 9 here, trust me.

girl you are in SLC....remember the phrase early to bed early to rise makes a person healthy wealthy and wise?

that explains the healthy thing...(no booze)
wealthy will never happen in SLC, nobody REALLY makes more than 70 grand without becoming a public figure
