I found out I have a bicornuate (heart-shape) uterus. What are the chances I will carry full term? Any success stories?
I am not pregant now but I was wondering what the fetal survival rate is for women with bicornate uteruses compared to rates of women with no uterine abnormalties.

A bicornuate uterus should not cause infertility, but is associated with increased risks for miscarriage as well as preterm birth. For more details check out the ff. sites. Good luck & cheers!

It depends on how deep the "horns" of the uterus are and if there is a septum that divides your uterus. As a L&D nurse for many years, we have seen this MANY TIMES. Depending on how your uterus is formed, you may need a c-section, but I have seen MANY full term vaginal births.

I'm not sure of the stats off the top of my head, but there are many more things that are high risk than bicornate uterus.
Hope this helps.
