im 20 yrs old and me and my husband have been trying to get pregnant but we cant, we have had several test done, sperm count, and me i have taken medication so i can get my period every month which i hate taking, n-e-way this month i got my period after like 4 months, do you think i can get pregnant this time? i gott my period sunday? please help me i really would like to know!!! i would love to have a baby its the only thing that would make me suuuuupppper happy !!! thanks janie

The best advice I can offer you is to get an ovulation predictor kit and start using it every day after you period stops. This will help you pinpoint when you are ovulating so you and your husband can have sex at the most optimal time. You can get pregnant at any time when you are having you period, whether it is regular or not. The hard thing in this case is to know the best time to have sex. That's where the test comes in handy. Try the babyhopes.com site if you can't buy the test locally. You should also start taking the pills the doctor gave you too. If you want a baby that badly you should do whatever it takes!
By the way, saying that having a baby is the only thing that will make you happy doesn't sound healthy to me. You should be aware that there is still a number of couples in the world today who cannot conceive. Don't base all your future happiness on children just in case. Have plans for the future and concentrate on your husband, it will either lead to a stronger relationship or kids. Both are great.

yes you can still get pregnant. i know a girl that had the sameproblems as you describe and she finally got pregnant after trying for about a year. it just sometimes takes time. Good Luck.

Yes u can still get pregnant..I have irregular periods also and I still get pregnant and i am 36 weeks.Good luck.

Yes, you can still get pregnant if everything checked out okay. If you learn how to chart your basal body temperature, you can tell when/if you are ovulating. Good luck!
