You could try to contact Ami James by asking a question on the "Miami Ink" part of the TLC/Discovery website...and tell him how much respect you have for the traditions of tattooing...he's supposed to respond to questions himself.

well all the girls get a tattoo and flirt with ami. that's nothing new. i think he would be more ticked off than anything. he's so sick of that. you have to get his attention by being into the same stuff as him. join the israeli army or buy a motorcycle and mention it as you get a tattoo. AND make sure the tattoo is his specialty!! i.e. those japanese flowers, and not something lame. it has to be something interesting and different but in his style. that'll get his attention as well.
and are u seriously gonna try and get his attention?? just cause he's on tv doesn't mean he talks to mere mortals like us!
