Any carbonated soda will work. Put a few mentos candies into half a bottle of soda. Put the top on as quickly as you can. Put on ground, get away. The dangerous part comes from the top and shrapnel from the bottle. The top off the bottle can shoot of with a great deal of force and cause SEVERE injury. A more interesting experiment that does not cover everything with soda is to put baking soda in the soda bottle and pour in vinegar. Then put the top on and get away. Far away. The bottle will 'pop' with a load noise. The same safety dangers are present as stated earlier.

Put a pack of mentos in a 2 liter bottle of coke. Open the pack and dump them in. It can help to use a funnel.

Simply drop the mentos into a liter and stand back or you'll get soaked. It comes rushing out like a fountain.
Be sure to try this outside.

get some diet soda put some mentos inside the bottle then wrap some c4 round the bottle then detonate it

its easy take a 2 liter of anysoda that is carbonated and 2 mentos- more for more power drop them in and step back- thats it- easy and simple- nothing hard- just messy and funnier with rootbeer or redtype or grape sodas!
