Especially how they seem to be a more "mature" doll marketed at very young audiences?

I have to see them almost everyday at work. It bothers me how it's all about "fashion" and "looking hot and sexy." Not a message I think girls that age should be getting. Plus, I even asked a co-worker once what HE thought about them and he said "they make me think thoughts I shouldn't be thinking." Bratz dolls are no bueno.

I grew up in the 60's and there was a lot of controversy surrounding Barbies. If you think that Bratz are too mature for young girls, there was so much controversy that surrounded Barbie, like the fact that she was unreal with large breasts and a small waist. She wore a lot of make-up, before being made with blue eyeshadow and red lips. It seems that Bratz are the new Barbie. Check out Wikipedia and the Controversy that surrounded Barbie.So, No. I dont think its a big deal..Its a fricken doll!.. anyway..whatever happened to pretend playing?

Yes! They tell girls that it's okay to be a skank. And have you seen the 'Lil Bratz'? or Bratz Baby's? I mean come on! Lets get real. Where does it all end? Let's just start marketing 'Lil Bratz Sperm' and 'Lil Bratz Ova'.

That's the same with Barbie dolls. I remember one parent wanting to ban them because she thinks it'll influence the kid's minds on what's the ideal image and characteristics for women and little girls.
